The bed shelf in place. It is pine, varnished. The extra piece screwed underneath serves to keep it straight.
Only a riser at the right-hand end, because a screw pokes in behind the roof spring, stopping the shelf from pulling out toward the cupboard.
The only problem with this shelf is that it has to be unloaded to lift up the bed and get at the storage underneath. -The shelf lifts up with the bed, just adding a bit of weight to it.
