This "mattress" is composed of the original sofa cushions with a "mattress topper" on top. It is all held together by a custom tube made from sheets, by Michele.
Yes, the innerspring mattress from our sofa-bed is more comfortable, but it was a struggle moving it between van and house when we had guests.
