This switch box is stuck to the kitchen wall, to turn on and off a downlight (using an ESP01 & EspNow). It is 7cm tall.
The cover just slides tightly onto the base. It is thin enough to allow pressing the switch underneath.
(I also made one to take 2 AAA cells, which had to be a bit taller.)
